Competition Invites

The World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) is an international robotics competition designed to challenge and inspire young people from all over the world. The competition invites individuals between the ages of 8 to 19 to build, program and operate robots to compete in a variety of tasks. The WRO takes place annually in different locations around the globe and is divided into several categories based on age and skill level, with participants competing in teams of two or three. Every year, the competition introduces a new theme or challenge for participants to solve. The World Robotics Olympiad is an exciting and challenging competition that inspires young people to explore the field of robotics and pursue careers in STEM. It offers an excellent platform for participants to showcase their talents, learn from others, and develop essential skills such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. 

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a program that encourages children aged 9 to 16 to become interested in STEM subjects, while also teaching them important skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking. It is a global robotics program created by LEGO in partnership with FIRST. FLL teams consist of up to 10 children who work together to build and program a LEGO robot to complete missions on a themed playing field. Each year, a new challenge is released that focuses on a real-world problem, and teams are required to research the issue and develop a solution to present at competitions. FLL competitions take place worldwide and include not only robot matches, but also judging of the team's research project and core values, such as cooperation and respect. This program provides a fun and engaging way for children to learn STEM skills while fostering their creativity, curiosity, and passion for learning.
